For over 20 years, Rodrigo has specialized in transfer pricing planning and documentation, operational effectiveness models, and transfer pricing technology for multinational companies. His expertise includes transfer pricing design, risk management, controversy management, Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), OECD and U.S. documentation, and value chain optimization. With extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies and Big 4 accounting firms, Rodrigo brings a hands-on, results-driven approach to helping clients navigate complex international tax challenges.

Rodrigo’s transfer pricing career began in Latin America with Andersen and later Deloitte, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding their local transfer pricing practices. This experience, which exposed him to various industries and challenges, equipped him to guide clients through evolving tax regulations. His leadership was further demonstrated when a U.S. multinational company recruited him to lead its global transfer pricing operations for over 11 years.

At WTP Advisors, Rodrigo continues to apply his collaborative approach, aligning transfer pricing policies with business functions, assets, and risks to enhance tax rate efficiency and mitigate transactional risk. His expertise in in-house process optimization has been instrumental in the development of TransPortal, a global software as a service transfer pricing management platform. Rodrigo has been actively involved in product development and providing operational transfer pricing support, showcasing his innovative and collaborative approach.
