This course provides an introduction to transfer pricing issues facing multinational businesses. The discussion will focus on the application of the arm’s length standard as described in US Treasury Regulations 1.482, and the application of transfer pricing legislation and regulations in other countries, largely through the transfer pricing guidelines published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The course examines economic models, pricing policies, global intangible property, and controversy involving transfer pricing.

For Part 2 of the form enter Transfer Pricing, MBT 6383, Class # 65971. The course is 2 credits / 30 CPE. Non-degree students can either take the course for a grade or “audit.” If students take it for a grade then the credits would transfer if they later decided to go for a degree (or possibly a Certificate in International Taxation).
